AQ6374 Overview and Applications
The Yokogawa AQ6374 measures spectra across visible and near-infrared wavelengths. It is suited to laser and broadband-source characterization and wavelength-dependent fiber-loss measurements. Eight resolution settings let engineers balance spectral detail and measurement needs.
Measurement and Analysis
Seven traces can be displayed together for comparison. Built-in analysis covers laser, LED, optical-filter, and color measurements. A purge connection helps reduce water-vapor absorption within the monochromator. The internal reference source supports optical alignment and wavelength calibration.
Applications and Automation
- Characterize visible-to-telecom laser sources and broadband emitters.
- Measure optical-fiber loss versus wavelength with a suitable external source.
- Evaluate visible LED spectra and color.
- Integrate remote measurements using GP-IB, RS-232, or Ethernet; Ethernet supports TCP/IP and VXI-11 or socket control.
