Information you provide
When you submit an enquiry, the site may collect your name, organization, email address, phone number, selected products, message, consent choice, source page, and limited anti-abuse metadata. Please provide only information needed for the enquiry. A request through the footer newsletter form collects your email address, explicit consent, the current notice version, timestamps, and limited keyed anti-abuse data. A subscription through the site-wide marketing popup also records the page path where you submitted it. Query parameters and fragments are not retained in that popup subscription record.
How enquiry information is used
Enquiry data is used to review and respond to your request, maintain an operational record, prevent duplicate or abusive submissions, and protect the site.
Newsletter double opt-in
A request through the footer newsletter form remains pending until you open the same-site confirmation link and explicitly select the confirmation button. Merely opening the email link does not subscribe you. Pending requests expire automatically. Confirmed updates include or use the private unsubscribe capability issued for that subscription, and an unsubscribe request is idempotent.
Marketing popup immediate subscription
When you actively select the separate, unchecked consent box and submit your email address in the marketing popup, TXRX Instrument records that address as subscribed immediately, without an email confirmation step. The popup subscription is for product updates, news, and marketing emails from TXRX Instrument. Submitting an address that previously unsubscribed does not silently reverse that choice. You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us; future marketing emails will also include an unsubscribe method.
The popup uses browser session storage to count active browsing time and browser local storage to remember a five-minute reminder delay or that this browser should stop showing the popup after an accepted submission. Those browser values do not contain your email address. Clearing site data or using another browser or device may reset this preference. The subscription endpoint also uses short-lived, keyed technical request counters to limit abuse; it does not add an IP address to the subscription record.
Product PDF download lead
To obtain a protected product PDF, you provide an email address. We record the selected product and document, the same-site page path reported by your browser without query parameters or fragments, the submission time, the Privacy Notice version, and whether you separately requested marketing email. We use this information to provide the download, handle download-related enquiries, manage access, and prevent abuse.
After a successful submission, this browser receives a random, email-free, Secure and HttpOnly cookie that allows protected product PDF downloads for 30 days. Clearing site data or using another browser or device requires a new submission. The site stores a keyed hash of the access token so access can be checked and revoked. The separate product-updates and marketing checkbox is unchecked by default: submitting a download request alone does not subscribe you. If you choose that checkbox, the immediate marketing-subscription and unsubscribe rules above apply; a previous unsubscribe is not silently reversed.
Only authorized website administrators can view the download lead. Its configured retention date is recorded, and administrators can revoke and anonymize individual or expired records; expiry cleanup is an administrative action, not an automatic deletion promise. You may ask to access, correct, or erase your information, subject to applicable recordkeeping needs.
Retention and access
Records are private and restricted to authorized website administrators. Enquiries receive a configurable retention date. Unconfirmed footer newsletter requests are retained for no more than the configured short pending period. Confirmed subscriptions, popup subscriptions, and unsubscribe-suppression records remain durable while needed to honor the current choice. Raw confirmation and unsubscribe tokens are never stored; only keyed hashes are retained.
Email delivery
The site uses its configured WordPress mail transport to deliver the footer newsletter confirmation message. The marketing popup does not send a confirmation message. If marketing emails are sent later, their delivery providers may process the recipient address and technical delivery data as needed to send those messages, and each message will provide an unsubscribe method.
Technical services
The hosting platform, WordPress, security and caching services, and any analytics service enabled in the site settings may process technical request data needed to deliver, measure, or protect the site. Their processing is subject to their applicable terms and the operator’s configuration.
Your choices and privacy requests
The footer newsletter’s private unsubscribe link stops that newsletter subscription. To withdraw a separate marketing popup subscription before receiving any marketing email, use the Contact page or the published contact email. Future marketing emails will also include an unsubscribe method for that subscription. You may request access, correction, or deletion of information associated with you; identity may need to be verified before a request is completed.
